The Birch Room

Introduction to School & Preschool (Ages 2 1/2 to 4 Years)

The Birch Room is a place where childhood is honored as sacred a time for wonder, imagination, and discovery. Our program nurtures the whole child, heart, hands, and mind through play, rhythm, and relationships that build trust and connection before academic learning unfolds. A mix of guided activities with plenty of free discovery gently introduces the concept of structure.

Grounded in inclusivity and reverence for the earth, we create a classroom community where every child and family feels seen, safe, and valued. Through nature-based experiences, artistic expression, and mindful care, we encourage curiosity, empathy, and a sense of belonging in the world. In the Birch Room, we believe that education is an act of love that nurtures confidence, creativity,  a sense of wonder and a little magic.
