Afternoons at River School are designed to complement the Yarmouth Public Pre-K Morning Program. Bus service will be provided from Rowe School at the dismissal time of 11:25a.m. and arrive at River School just minutes later. Your child will receive a warm welcome at the bus and be escorted into the school where they will join the other children staying for our full day pre-k program. Once they have settled in, they will enjoy lunch followed by a brief circle time to connect, and then restful yoga. The remainder of the afternoon will be filled with dramatic play, art projects both 2-D and 3-D, baking, as well as outdoor play in River’s outdoor spaces and Royal River Park.
We follow the Yarmouth School Department calendar, so we observe the same holidays and school vacations.
Pre-K: Ages 4-5 years old
Schedule options: Full-week Monday-Friday OR a three day option M,W,F or T,W,TH

Pre-enrollment form submitted: As soon as possible
Scheduled tours* (*these are only scheduled with a completed Pre-enrollment form submitted to us): the month of April and the first two weeks of May, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings.
