Welcome to River School House
The River School of Maine is a place where compassion, peaceful communication, and caring for the earth lay the foundation for which all learning and thoughtful living happens. It is where children can keep intact the "magic" of childhood while fostering their inherent reverence for the natural world. We aspire to see children grow to become balanced, whole and thinking individuals with an excitement and appreciation for the natural world.
It has been a magnificent first year of being open and run out of our home. The program is presently full but enrollment is now being accepted for fall 2008. We are in the process of looking for a new location here in Yarmouth. The goal is to find a charming space that will provide a bit more elbow room!
