School Environment
"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
We focus on encouraging children to use non-aggressive communication to work out common conflicts. Strengthening these practices in a group setting will provide valuable "tools" for entering the primary years and other social situations. While working on these skills, we are forming friendships, sharing giggles, and having fun!
With a maximum child to teacher ratio of 5:1, there is a lot of attention on their safety and needs. We hold a license in childcare and therefore comply with state safety regulations. We are permitted and equipped to change diapers. Please see Policies and Procedures for more information on health and safety.
The play area is completely fenced in with a sandbox, tee pee, and thoughtfully chosen outdoor toys. Our garden area holds raised beds for seasonal organic gardening and berry picking!
